Maybe it would be possible for multiple users to be given the ability to modify posts?

This would be helpful in event planning if multiple peoe are organizing an event, the op could give certain members the ability to edit a post if they have new information to go in the first post or two of a thread

It if you are posting pictures say of a specific trail, you could allow members that went with to post pics in the first few reserved posts, so instead of having pics strewn across 50 pages it could be posted all on the first few posts

    Just a thought

Exactly. You would enter a username of the person or something.

Or maybe just a password to edit the post, or permission number

I think this could be useful, and this is how I would implement it if I was too.

It would be some work for the one Bob I am sure, but I think this is the most reasonable way to tackle the job.
