Yes, there are three buttons on bottom edge of the mirror. Each one can be programmed to open a different garage door.

Bodacious...........no stupid questions man!! Homelink can also be programed to operate lights, gates etc as well as garage door openers. Nice option even for future house upgrades.

Jimbob....I had just the opposite problem in Miami, I had to run the Air Conditioning during my install and suffered the heat outside while running the temp probe!!!

    Hey guys,
Just got back from vacation today and the mirror i got from Bob was waiting for me on my front doorstep. I literally walked in with my luggage and decided to install the mirror. Took me only 15 minutes to put it in. The only thing i had to adjust was to cut the trim piece a little bit. hope these pics help.

Came to find out that I had to change the zone on the compass from 8 to 4 since I live in Nor Cal. Also, one thing i didnt' really like is that the homelink buttons work all the time even when the truck is off with no key in the ignition. I was hoping to have it only on when the key was in the ACC mode. But all in all..perfect install and looks OEM

    Thanks BOB!

Finally picked up my truck this morning. I received the call couple days ago, dealer said there was no autodimming mirror, that it supposed to have it, and installed one at no charge with temp and compass. Excellent service and big shout out to my dealership. I can finally stop worrying about it!

That is awesome dude! So happy for you. I wish my dealership had done the same, they really are going to drive me to take my business elsewhere. Glad there are some good dealers out there still.

Yet another happy customer. Installed in my '14 today, and it took maybe an hour, to install, program the compass, and to learn 3 garage door codes. And that was with me taking my time, making sure not to screw anything up. Best money spent on the truck yet. And easy to do. Like everyone else said, hardest part is getting the wiring through the firewall, and that took maybe 5 minutes, taking my time, but I was able to push the exterior wires through, as I wanted the connections inside the cab. Bob sent butt connectors, zip ties, the harness, and it really was plug and play with the exception of the two temp sensor wires. VERY HAPPY.:)

Not time zone, compass zone as its different depending on where you live relative to the north pole.

Go back about four pages in this thread and start reading. There is a guy selling them, i'll repost his link here: http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=151176407754

For his mirrors, all you have tp do is run the temp probe apparently. You can message him for questions or just post them in this thread. Hope i've helped. Sorry your truck didn't come with thpse features...damn you toyota!

Installed,"Bobs" mirror on my '14 last night. Slice of pie! about an hour. Hardest part, if you call it hard, was getting temp wires through fire wall. No small screwdriver for oem or Bobs mirror both tork.

Really nice when I called them Sat & the Customer Service person said they would be in touch and have one installed complimentary ( I'm happy) Monday got a call from the dealership, says it shows on the build sheet but not on the window sticker but she felt confident that Toyota would do something to make it good ( I'm still happy) even discussed me paying the difference & adding homelink. Got a call from Toyota in Los Angeles today and was told no that it was because of a misprint in the brochures. (He also told me they were not wired for it and that the info on boards like this were not accutrate or credible. P'd me off! will pull my OH console tomorrow.)

We'll I've got nothing but time on my hands so I will take it the arbitration route.

Also, if enough parties interested could assemble a class action suit.

I'd almost put money on the harness being in your headliner man. I have it in mine, i just don't have the temp sensor in the grill.

My '14 was built in September. I installed the Gentex mirror. As others have written, the wired plug was sitting in front of the overhead console when I pulled it down. Just plugged right into the mirror wiring and it was powered. Hope yours is just as easy!

Really?? this seems a bit ridiculous/excessive for something you can easily remedy yourself. But I guess that's the new "American" way.
