I'm interested in setting up a CB radio in my truck, but I'm having trouble sifting through the loads of information out there, and add to that that you can't search for "CB" on this form since there is a minimum character requirement for a search query.

I'm just looking for something basic to use to communicate out on trails and on the highway. I don't want to spend more than a couple hundred clams at most.

I'm sure there are alot of you that have experience with this equipment, but to a newb it's a little overwhelming. Is there any information on here or out on the web to help me choose and install the proper components?

Thanks alot! I may go with Pittim's setup, that's actually what prompted me to start looking in to this.
