I'm on my phone but the link is just showing a Leica M series lens, yes? Leica has been top dog in its own category for a long time. With Sony announcing the A7 and A7R mirrorless full frame cameras a TON of people used them as a more affordable body to put manual focus Leica glass on. With focus peaking and a modern FF, MILC some pretty phenomenal results are showing up. When that FF line is better developed along it will have my eye for sure.

SLR Magic 50mm T0.95 is a much cheaper alternative, btw. Just about as good.

I wanted to post this up here before I put it on POTN tonight. My sister is selling her MINT Canon 7d with only 1052 clicks on the shutter ( I used EOS shutter count cause I knew it was low!!) She just never got into it. You can by just the body, or I have the 28-135is as well. It has the books and some wires, but no box. Camera and lens are like brand new, except for 2 tiny marks on the bottom of the camera. I'll sell the body for $850 for you guys, or do a package deal with the lens for $1000. I can get pix tonight.

Shooting eagles is one of my favorite things to do. In this image an adult eagle is chasing one of it's offspring, from the year before, away from the nest that contains eggs. If they allow the juvenile near the nest it may break the eggs.

Straighten your horizon in this one. Nice pics!

You use the crop tool where it's showing crop overlay in this pic then use your cursor right outside the left or right side of the pic to rotate it and straighten the pic. If you already knew that sorry. Figured I'd show you since you're new to LR.

You can also have it do it automatically in Len Correction.

If you go to Len Correction,

Enable profile correction, and i always also remove Chromatic abbreviation, you will see you can have it level the photo via uprights, horizontal or auto. it works great for landscapes usually.

Some times it doesn't work so well as it can't tell enough info from the photo and meta data.

if you select constrain to crop too it'll crop it for you too if needed.

    see..

A lot of the pictures had quite a bit of noise. But they were taken on my iphone so that may have had something to do with it. (and the cropping and filter too :anonymous:)

Hey, I'm all about reducing noise and getting as sharp an image as possible, but that definitely isn't ALL a photo is. I've seen a lot of really, really sharp photos that have crap composition and no emotion or message.
