My bumper only works will allpro skids so my options were kind of limited. I do like the skids and i'm curious to see how often I get hung up on that front cross member. Other than that they are great skids.

I have a Relentless IFS skid plate. I installed it before a lift or tires and lost some ground clearance. With the loss of about 1", I dragged a lot going up to my camp. After 1.5 miles of rubs and hits the skid still looks brand new. Great product, I highly recommend them!

I have the ATO/4x front and mid skidplate.

The front is a beast. 1/4 inch and it will support the truck. It has a nice smooth bend to it so lesser vehicles and pedestrians don't get caught up under there. I've smacked it a few times - and put a nice gouge in it - didn't even flinch.

The mid plate mates up nicely and is a piece of cake to install.

    A++ would skidplate again.

    Relentless fab skids.

The crossover accommodation never worked with my exhaust because it was so bent. Should have just down the crosseover from the bgining and flatbellied. Did it after.
All in all install went pretty smoothly, and everything is holding on so far.
Skids are great, lots of coverage all around. Definitly take a beating.

I'm on my 2nd set of Pelfreybilt skids, I can't say they are better or worse than another vendor's skids or not since I have only bought from him. I can say I wheel with my buddies who have different (brands of) skids and we tackle the same trails, with that being said I won't say which protects better, but Pelfrey's have excellent under carriage coverage from front to back. I am pretty hard on my skids and there are dents and deep scores from rocks but I am surprised they are holding up as well as they have been. The install is very simple, I recommend 2 people though, you will have to drill 2 holes through the frame which isn't bad if you have new bits and some drilling oil. Tyler also has some of the best customer service I've delt with.

They are hard to come by, since being discontinuted (one of our texas members is actually selling one right now), but i'm a huge fan of the old style all pro ifs skid.

you never really see a lot of innovation, or striving for improvement in the area of skid plates. the general mentality (unfortunately) is just use giant flat cuts of steel (sometimes other materials). typically no extra bracing or clearance areas are taken into acount.

the old style all pro was one of the few that took into acount that skids are ground clearance limitors and tried to fix that. hence, the only "high clearance" front skid.

wheeled with it for years now, and been in a number of sutations where it's been the difference between making it up something, vs just running into it with a standard ifs skid.

    Example:
not only would i have been already sitting on a standard skid, but if would be putting very high pressure on a very weak/unsupported section of it.

holds up like any other. durability is pretty much the same across the board.

Those look great I can see how they would help. I wish they still made them like that. Not sure I should add a review of a discontinued skid though. If you think I should I will.

they pop up for sale every once in a while, but like the old all pro hybrid bumper, they can sometimes be pretty hard to find.

to my knowledge, the biggest reason for discontinuing that skid was because it didn't allow the use of a sway bar. gotta build what the market wants i guess.

I was wondering why they would discontinue something that offers more clearance. Good to know.

Flat belly looks good. I see you moved the exhaust. Do those skids come that way from ATO? Looks like you have an IFS and transmission skid but no transfer case skid. Is that correct?

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I can't really vote for one. I have a mix of ATO and Relentless skids.
