Ya with yours they won't match but that's ok, just looking for a 17. It's really no big deal don't have the $, but if you or anyone wants a toytec diff drop ( new in bag uninstalled) let me know ill bring it.
When, I bought my truck(used ) I didn't like the lift that the previous owner installed. So..I upgraded hehe.

Maybe we could talk or work a Christmas deal?:D

Again this diff drop is open to anyone that is going on this trip and is free no big deal. Didn't relized the previous owner did one thing right.

    I need a 17 inch rim.:)

    Thanks,

    Brett

Didn't mean to jack your thread OP:D

CB is on my Christmas list as well. I find myself traveling with the 2 ways a lot, might as well make the jump.

Baja as in T/X Pro Baja. Although a Suburu Baja would be sweet to take up there and drive off a cliff. Those things are heinous.

Ya football !:) that's what I'm giving up... But I don't care, for my maiden voyage of my truck I bought in 2011 when my wife was pregnant with my first. It took me a few years of mods and another pregnancy but we are you g for it..

    Thanks,

    Brett

So it looks like Travis (TacomaTSP) and Myself are going to run the trail friday just to check out conditions and go play while we can on our day off.

Doubt it'll be anything crazy but its always good to know what were getting 8+ trucks into before everyone comes up.

Just a thought, would anyone want to try to meet up on the east side of the mountains and go in that way? Is that even possible? It's a pretty long way to dive around the mountain and then up.

You're out east of Yuba City? Fastest way is defnitely to drive around the forest and up through Potter Valley to meet everyone. There are shorter (distance) ways but you would need a map, some familiarity with the forest, some good luck with conditions (no wash outs, downed trees, etc.), and it wouldn't be faster (unless you got LT and no fear).

You might consider heading up and out via FH7 on your way home, just to mix it up. There are a few ways to do this, but it will make for a longer day and you'll want to make sure you're prepared to pull it off and able to get out before dusk (assuming you don't know the forest that well).

    PS - where in upstate?

Yeah, I looked at the map and it's not looking like I'd be able to do it with just myself and a friend. Definitely in the summer. But not with snow and cold and no knowledge whatsoever of this place.

I'm originally from Galway. Judging by the "Saratogian" under your username you know exactly where that is. Straight out 29.

It is looking like if I come my buddy from work will come out too. Coincidently, he's from Rotterdam.

Yup I definitely know where Galway is. I've spent a lot of time riding dual sports all over the forest...definitely best to get to know it in the summer when everything is passable and the days are long (and they nights are not below freezing). Too bad i won't be making this trip.
