i think its more so of an anxiety issue. i can swim fine underwater if i have goggles and can see where im going but i cant open my eyes without goggles which triggers my "panic mode" which then goes into another stage called "fuck it".

i've been thrown into the deep end numerous times with people yelling at me afterwards for not trying to survive lol.

my last near death encounter was at the ladies god parents house and the pool vacuum hose wrapped around my leg and pulled me down. the last thing i did was call for the lady and then gave up on life and went down. no fucks

I love being on the lake. Used to go a lot when I was young. But last year was the first time in probably 10+ years.

Owning a damn boat is expensive though, so I don't think I'll ever have one.

Here's a picture from last year

Yeah my dad doesn't like getting water in his nose or eyes either, most of "swimming" is exactly what you're saying, not flipping out. I absolutely hated the life saving training part where we had to learn dealing with panicked swimmers. Basically the instructor (a big dude and I was like 13 at the time) bear hugged you under water and you had to get out and drag him up. I had to tap-out multiple times haha

That looks ozarks-y, what lake you at? We have a place on Pomme de Terre

i type medical records and my job description is as follows
    1. recieve corrected medical records via mail and fax
    2. type them into the computer system
    3. get pharmacist to approve of corrections
    4. when the nursing home/assisted living facilities print date arrives print all of their stuff (medical records / physicians orders / treatment orders/ etc..)
    5. repeat steps 1-3 until its time for 4.

the nursing homes "print" dates usually falls between the 18-24 of each month and its extra busy when we have about 6 working printers with about 12 people trying to use them and each person has roughly 12ish homes to print with anyway between 30 to 200 people per home and each person may have 1 page or may have 20 depending on meds and such

easy, headbutt person until unconcious, bring them up, give CPR, boom
    stereotypes....

yeah i originally came here for better pay but the insurance takes out so much that i get paid alot less than before. i dont plan on being here after this month though. the shitty part about leaving is knowing that they are understaffed and this little department is like family and are great people but i really can't do this anymore. i got a kid to worry about so i gotta do stuff with him in mind now.
gonna try this next time i go "swimmin"
isnt that really the only reason for coke? i like a good mixture but the past few times i went out the bartender put a splash of coke which meant the bartender shook the coke tap until a drop came out then handed me the drink

Does your camelback ever get back to normal after using it for shit other than water? I've always been afraid to cause you could never get it fully clean again

Ya it's fine I go from water to Gatorade to whiskey. If it gets to where I can't just clean it from soaking I get the tablets for cleaning retainers and let those fizz and clean it it
