I still applaud this kid for at least trying to put his ideas into reality, not saying its the best idea, its the effort that at least deserves props, I read alot of non constructive BS from others that dont even have the drive or imagination to even attempt, thats fine, & theres a few here that DO have the skills & knowledge that dissapoint the most, instead of berating him they shoulda taken him aside & point out his problem areas with positive criticism & the other dude is right in saying the big aftermarket fab shops didn't nail it on their products first time out, they've all hit walls before getting it right, I don't see anything being offered fab wise by the ones who slam the most but whatever....

 

Dont you worry sugartits, I pointed out why and where this will fail, as did most. Just because you put an effort forth doesn mean you get a trophy, pass go, or collect 200 dollars. If big name manufacturers got away with building kits like this for those prices they wouldn exist. The reason they cost so much is because of the R&D time, not the actual labor and materials of the finished product.

 

Not to be combative, but have you read the original thread? Lots of sound advice was offered to this kid, and instead of taking some constructive criticism, he decided to go against all advice and bolster his own "fab" skills. As it's been said before, if this wasn't a DD truck then great, but it's going to be on the road and that's just scary.
