    That code is notorious for low Trans fluid level. Most likely when you stopped so suddenly your fluid shifted away from where it needed to be for a shift solenoid. I'm sure all is fine, but if it came on from just doing that, I would consider taking it in to get the fluid level verified and topped off.

    Interesting. Thomasville Toyota did a tranny flush/fill last Jan. I assume i would have noticed t fluid if it was leaking. Do I need Toyota or can I go anywhere to have it checked?

    It was a very abrupt stop, just shy of needing ABS. Idiot decided to merge lines and then slam brakes at a yellow just short of an intersection. BFG AT have great traction, truck stops well.

    Thanks for the help.

    I did maxtracs on another members truck from Gainesville not long ago. They are pretty simple. You shouldn't have any issues.
