damn... I think i know where it washed out at. You can get to the other side of that ridge. When you take the first right off the main gravel road, just keep going straight rather than taking a left to the spot in your picture. and itll take you to the otherside. Its super overgrown though, so you scratch the hell out of your truck.

Hey Ben, not to be pushy, but have you gotten anywhere with beginning to design the NE WA exploration for next summer? I have started chatting it up with some of the people from North Idaho and Spokane area on here in another thread and I would bet we can get a few of them out too.

 

I bet that vinyl was a pain to put on....never saw a stripe like that before...looks cool.


Those sliders are a nice addition to your truck.

Thanks everyone. I am definitely pleased with how the truck is turning out so far.

Actually the vinyl was pretty simple. I have done some vinyl work on a few past vehicles though. There are a few other trucks that have them. I never knew why until I installed my LED bar and found that it had a decent amount of glare off the silver paint.

 

Hey Kolt, those nerf bars didn't quite line up right. The length of them is good, but the rear mount on both sides had to come off to get it on. The bars bolt on to the cab, not the frame, and since I have the AC rather than DC, the cab is a little shorter. They still hold my weight though with only 4 bolts on each side. Sliders will be nice to have later.

 

Not so much. Things have been crazy busy with work and the holidays around the corner. I will try to get some basic itinerary/plan outlined in January, and probably create a thread to discuss.

 

Hmm... I didn't even think about that lol. I knew you had a access cab but it didn't even occur to me that your mounts are different. That is too bad.

 

2 out of 3 mounts works just fine for my purposes. Should work out for Jose later. I am pretty sure he has the double cab.

I have AC steps on my DC, self tapping bolts work great for the rear mounts.

 

Depending on the styles you guys could try swapping them.

 

I actually thought about that too. What kind of steps are we talking about here? I have NFAB's.

 

Oh, no. These are just the OEM Black round nerf bars.

 

I keep seeing a white access cab 2nd Gen with SCS wheels and a Tacoma World sticker on the rear window by the Safeway gas station in Kenmore...

 

I wanna do an eastern WA desert run around and camp trip for a few days. Maybe swing by moses and then hit some dirt roads for a few days.

Also will be taking the 94 yota to tahuya for a shakedown run sometime in january.
