Cool you will not regret it. I have found the best carry case is the Cabelas 2 burner stove case but they are out of stock right now on the double case. It has a pocket inside to put the griddle which I still wrap in a towel and of course use a silicone spatula.

Cabelas also has the high wall cast iron griddle in stock again, they have been out of stock for more than a year. It is a freaking awesome setup on a high output 3 burner stove. Weighs ~50 pounds and it takes about an hour to cool down after using it so it's not really a quick eat and travel giddle. Each June I cook breakfast for 3 days for around 60 people on it at the MidWest Upland Shoot, dog run & yuk fest. And in base camp hunting when I have to feed more than 3-4 people.

I have a confession....if I won the lottery I would buy one of hem earthroamer xv-lt's :(. Actually, if they made a slightly smaller one I'd probably go for that. It would have to be a substantial lottery though. And I would have to grow thicker skin to deal with the occasional ridicule.

There is no "OFFICIAL" tax for reading the article. "'waves hands wildly like an African and shouts in a similar manner'"

I give you my friendship, and commend you on your duties and not giving into the corruption in your country. Besides I paid when I came into the country. See, check my papers that I forged, I mean that are 'official(ly)' fresh off my printer.

93 pages and he never left the build of gear in the trip report as promised... To top it off, they left the site all together. Whatever, had a good read and through some additional prodding, came across pics of the build.

The only problem is they have AK's, you have a soup spoon. I've been abroad enough to know that I'd rather travel someplace that is happy to have me spending my money there as opposed to trying to extort funds every three miles.

A bunch of blowhards clomplaining about sore vaginas and braving the incredibly challenging roads of the Alaska Highway?

I think my sentiment is easily detectable..

Contemplating driving back to Rhode Island for the holidays; and taking the Trans Canada Highway/Banff back.. I've got the rest of my life to be boring.

Mostly commentary while on a glacier cruise out of Valdez about why they do what they are doing, and normal touristy stuff.
Teaser at the end showed promise for the next episode though.

Trip reports take a lot of time. Plus you need to take good notes for a real long trip to remember stuff well.

But i like doing them..:) make me relive it all over again in a lot of ways.

I've done a few; started one for my Colockum Trip a few weeks ago. I find it very difficult for me to actually sit down and put it together. But yes - a "Rite in the Rain" in the cup holder is a necessary companion..
