Talk to a friend and I guess it could have been only a few things. Your choke wasn't seated properly (doesn't look like you even have one, so no) or there was some sort of obstruction in the barrel when you fired your last round.

Found a bunch of videos online where even the smallest amount of water can cause a split like that.

the filler neck pops out of the fender sometimes, so yes it moves. i think the tank moved backwards somehow.

hmmm.. i mean as far as when youre looking at it through the fender, is it still in the middle or moved back since youre thinking the tank moved taht way. Also, i know the tacoma tanks have big rubber straps the hold it up, have you taken a look to see if it actually did move?

it was never rubbing before so thats why i think it moved. the straps look in place, but the tank seemed like it moved since the tank isnt in the middle of the straps anymore.

I spotted a Silver 2nd Gen Tacoma with Coilovers(possibly King), aftermarket front end, and lots more aftermarket stuff on it, driving down State St past Five Points & McDonalds. I was waiting for a break in traffic to come out of Five Points and turn left. I flashed my bright lights(which happen to go blue or something) at them to say hi. :D
2 guys were in the truck, was it Anthony or someone from the board?

I would think if it moved u would be able to see wear marks where it use to be strapped. And if it's got fuel in it the straps are gonna be tight from the weight, once empty u could lift it up a bit and see if they have any play or if there is movement.
