Long Travel BS Thread

Back when I was in high school, Virgina would not pass my old bronco because of the bumpers. Went to college in Florida and it wouldn't pass emissions because of the headers. Luckly In Florida it was easy to get around. Sadly it's nothing new and not restricted to CA. Not sure how a aftermarket fuel tank changes emissions?

 

they claim stuff about excess gasoline vapors, overflow, and the location of the tank ususally.

 

Yeah it's all bs tho, it can't change emissions at all when every tank holds fuel and transfers it to the engine, I feel like ca is all about green with a hidden MO. How fuel gets to the engine doesn't matter, it's how the engine burns said fuel aka emissions states are fucking bull shit. I'm sorry and am not trying to be political but isn't this the land of the free? Shouldn't I be able to put any engine in my truck without the government stepping in and saying no?
