That's not bad at all. I swapped out for an Optima Yellow Top about this time last year. My OEM one was starting to get weak, it was 5 years old at the time.

My wife got her last battery from AAA. She neede a jump and the guy had the correct battery so she had him install it. I was pissed, I figured their price was a lot higher than others but they were very competitive

Just got back in from pushing back the snowbanks around the house. We're supposed to get pounded with 1/4" - 1/2" of ice this weekend, ala "ice storm of '98". So I figured I'd push them back before they got turned into rocks, rather than after.
One thing about a compact tractor; they're so damn light that the wheels tend to slip rather than to dig. Even with a counterweight, chains, 4x4, and a Diff lock she'll stop and spin much easier than she'll dig and push.
There's times I miss my old Case; ugly P.O.S. that it was, it would push 3 feet of snow like they were't even there.

Stairs was one thing I didn't have to dick with, thank goodness. Once we redid the upstairs I just had a buddy help me get the bed and desk up there. The rest of the furniture there we bought after we got here so just assembled it upstairs. Having a small room there really requires me to get creative, like turning a TV hutch into an armoire.

I recently got a new bed frame with drawers, full size 2 piece..went up easy enough and then got a Bob's memory foam mattress.

I was on the side of another Tacoma at a red light the other day. It had these wheels. I haven't seen any other Tacoma's with them. The truck looked completely stock.

Those are the dealer option wheels. I've typically seen them on the SR5 models as an upgrade over the steel wheels. Once Toyota introduced the SR5 + alloy option, I'd think there were many fewer sets sold.

My truck came with those wheels. I sold them off when I bought my first set of TRD Sport wheels. Mine was a 2007 SR5.

SR5 + Alloy option? I thought the dealership would throw anything on your vehicle as long as they're making money on it. When I bought mine, the dealer tried to offer me heated leather seats, navigation, and a sunroof.

When you configure Tacomas on Toyota's website an option is to get the SR5 with the TRD OR alloys with the SR5 tires (blackwall Dunlops).

I wish my dealer would have done that. I wanted to work the TRD Baja wheels (before I knew the hoopla behind them) and the salesman started lecturing me on the TPMS system so I said forget about it.

I really, really thought about getting a sunroof done, but when I swung by Classic Designs in West Bridgewater, I was really unimpressed by the person at the desk. Maybe I was being ridiculous, but I was expecting to leave there with a warm and fuzzy feeling about doing it, and instead I was left with the thought that there was no way I'd let them cut a hole in my roof. Sucks because they were the only local place that was certified to install a Webasto unit.

I used the website to see the available options, but I went to the dealer and told them what I wanted. They had exactly that on the lot, only in silver and not red, so they knocked $500 off.

When they offered my the sunroof I asked if it was even possible, and they weren't sure. So you offered me something that you're not sure can even be done? hmmm....
