What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

geez louise... we didn't unhook anything when Jon went apeshit on my truck.

 

I always disconnect the battery. I have welded on a ton of cars and trucks. Never have had any problems. But it only takes one time out of a thousand. I will be discouraging the ECM from now on that's for sure.

Had a new key cut from my VIN at a local dealer. Key works fabulously! No more ignition hard turns! Cost $9.40.

 

No. It just sounds cool. Probably gonna be switching to magnaflow here soon.

 

detailed the truck and repaired my rear tires, removed a meager handful of nails from the two. apparently i drove through a construction site in the last year. cant wait to slap on some bfg a/t ko's on her.

 

apparently i need a new camera, or a new phone. probably both.

 

Replaced the lense on my gauge cluster and also replaced the blue LEDs behind the gauges for the first time in 5 years.

Also installed a Fumoto oil drain when I changed my oil

 

Got my new CV Axles today! Plan on changing them next Monday

 

I love having the fumoto! Now If I could figure out a way to get the filter off without oil obeying the rules of gravity.

 

Yeah I tried the plastic bag thing.... Kinda worked haha kinda didnt

Made some poly leaf spring bushings fit to replace the squished rubber shock mounts

 

Isn't they're a filter relocation Kit? wouldn't need a plastic bag anymore, i just use a drip pan, easy to clean.

Me too, though it would be nice, i just hate having to recycle the stuff, it usually sits there for a month before i bring it in.

hahaha Thanks! That's not even the biggest saw or longest bar we have...

Its actually perfect for Christmas trees. Just have to bend over for a couple seconds. Don't have to get down on the ground or under the tree and get a bunch of branches in the face haha. Its also an extremely nice bar length for limbing trees. I like to walk on top of the tree as I limb it and that length saves my back a lot of stress because I don't need to bend over as much.
