This may have already been discussed, but my morimoto H1s are starting to "pulse" when my engine is on. Without the engine on and just the key on the "ACC" position, the retros are fine. It's only when i turn over the engine that they start to pulse, just a little bit. Any help here?

I also have the h1's and mine pulse as well. I'll have to try the key thing though. I had no issues out of them until it got cold. How long do yours pulse? Mine do it for about the first 5-10 min of my drive in the mornings

It's probably the faulty ballast causing the issues

That's what I'm thinking because I know I have good grounds.

pretty sure its the defective ballasts.

I also had the morimoto 3five ballast ignition issue.

I swapped them with EBAY ballasts with same ground and no issues. I upgraded to the DENSO OEM ballasts with same ground and no issues also.

I did hear that TRS will be sending the ballasts replacements starting today

Hey paul, and anyone else who can help, I ordered the denso ballasts as part of the group buy (an option, along with the matsushitas, with the FX-R's), but read at TRS's site that they are generally placed INSIDE the headlight housing. weird? where/how are you all placing these oem ballasts?

I placed my ballasts right behind the headlight until I get the new ones in , then I will mount them

I placed them outside and made my own bracket. walked around home depot and just search for what I can cut and bolt pretty much.
one thing is a must, you must get the ballasts water proofed. they charge $50 to waterproof the pair of denso ballasts. you can do it yourself also ,

but that epoxy resin alone is about $40 so its a no brainer to have TRS do it for you
