I saw Colby's wife today on Ray and az ave. She was behind me and waved at the light. First thought was who is this cute lady waving in this lowered import then I say the paint color on the bumper and recognized her. Then the shav3d plate gave it away when she pasted me.

 

Saw a red DC with a pretty big lift going southbound on Val Vista towards Guadalupe about an hour ago.

I haven't been to any meets. I have a wife and a five month old baby at home so getting out is tough. Plus my wife doesn't understand my infatuation with my Tacoma so she would just make fun of me if I went to one! And from what I can see it looks like a lot of the guys are in their early twenties so I would just feel like the old guy, but I do see that you're only a few years younger than me so maybe not!

Where in Gilbert are you? I'm at Val Vista and Baseline. Let me know if you need to where anything is in Gilbert. I grew up here so I know the area pretty well.

 

We had to get it back so she could hit some job interviews. In a few weeks it goes back for final paint. He's got some work to do on it still. I can't wait till it is finished so I can put a big ass stereo in it.

 

The way to sneak to meets is tell her we are just meeting up for dinner. It isn't a meet just a bunch of buddies going out to eat. Then we typically talk for an hour before we eat and an hour after we eat.

 

The reality is... this is exactly what it is. It's not really a "meet" anymore lol.

 

Infatuation with the Tacoma.. NOTHING wrong with that! We have members from 16 to retiring. Next month we have the big meet at Papago. I bet if you brought the family the wifey would understand a little better. Its just a big car show full of friends, family from the TW community. This community is like no other I've been a part of. Sure we have our assholes and trolls, but for the most part everyone is cool.

I can relate though cause my girl shakes her head at the love I have for my Scarlett, but she understands that its my thing as well as the gym. Just something I need to relieve the stress. I don't ask her to be a part of it, but she is always welcome to. It's a good thing she isn't the needy type.

I'm off power in between Guad & Elliot. I'm going to go down to Avid tonight for a bit if you want to tag along. I also need to go into the dirt to pull some road fill, I had some sinkholes appear with the rain last night.
