Maybe it wasn't an option for your year, but when I looked for my 2013 it was like the SR5 value package or something.

I bought mine through TrueCar. The only thing the dealer tried to upsell was the extended warranty. I tried to barter with them, but they were being...well car salesmen about it.

I really, really wanted a sunroof, I still do, but w/e.

The body shop I go to recommended a place and said they do very good work. I could ask them again if you're interested. If you asked the dealer for a sunroof, they would have brought it somewhere else also.

It's almost a feeling of relief though. That disease causes such a burden on everyone, and it's awful seeing your loved one totally lose it gradually over time. Now she has gone to a better place, she's back to her normal self, and your family can just worry about remembering the good times instead of the pains of taking care of her. Sure, you want to take care of them, but it is very stressful and exhausting. I'm sure you know what I mean.

My grandmother was trying to take care of my grandfather on her own for almost 2 years. We finally convinced her to let him go to the Alzheimer's unit in their complex. She was starting to forget stuff and it was just too much stress on her with everything else that's going on in our family. Though my grandfather is still alive and kickin, she only sees him every few days, he's happy and well taken care of, and she's got much less of a cross to bear.

Like I've said before, my grandfather was a PHD MIT grad, and now he doesn't know what a wristwatch is for. I want the old him back, but I can't, so I have memories of the good times!

Sorry to hear it. Grandparents are the best. I grew up only knowing one of mine and it was the saddest time of my life when she passed away.

Probably the easiest battery change I've done. It was also nice not to have to redo my radio settings.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I felt that way about my grandmother when the last bit of who she was disappeared, the vibrancy and life that was her essence had been taken away. I'm sorry to hear that your family has to deal with this.

I have a plug from when I was at dealer. It plugs into the lighter and holds a 9volt battery. Cust would love not having to reset stations

Took today off from work to do some last-minute X-mas shopping.
God, do I ever hate people. Everyone was driving like an asshole, people were yelling at each other in the aisles, lines out of the gas stations were holding up traffic (impending ice storm panic there, I suspect).
I mean, I was standing in line at the bank tellers window to drop off a holiday chocolate box for them (As some of you may know, I still get paper checks, and I do my banking in person a lot of the time) since they're always so pleasant. The guy behind me actually had the stones to complain (loudly under his breath so that I could accidentally-on-purpose hear him do it) that I shouldn't have been taking up space in line just to drop off a gift.

I've never been so tempted to try and mentally project "I have a gun so watch your mouth" to somebody before. Normally I'm pretty easy-going and have my temper well-clamped, but today...:quickdraw:

Bah. Sorry for the power vent, but people drive me nuts.

But, home now, so it's time to crank some x-mas music, pour myself a VERY tall drink, and wrap some presents.

That's exactly why I do all my shopping online. I can't stand being around people in stores during this time of year. Shitty people have really put a damper on the holidays lately.
