Sold my tacoma yesterday

It was a sad day for me yesterday, made the decision to let go of the tacoma . I needed a little better payload/towing and really needed cab space. Went with an 2013 F150. Ford gave me $23,500 for my 2012 DC 4.0L 4x4 with 53k miles. i couldnt pass that up along with 12k off the f150.

An older Tundra would have been a nice choice.

 

So if they gave you $23,500 for the taco and took off 12k off the f150 that equals $35,500. Did they cut you a check when you took delivery?

Hope you like your new ride. If I was going to a full size now it would be a F150. If I was going to a full size a year from now it would be a Titan with the new V8 Cummins 5.0 Diesel. Some of them are already in production. My son got to drive one and he said it is a real screamer. Unbelievable quickness and torque for a half ton.

 

OZ- Tacoma was paid off, I'll actually be getting a few hundred back from Toyota from warranties and what not. The f150 was $41k sticker so I think I did pretty good. i have never been a fan of the tundra style. I looked into them but decided against it. I

Im not letting them get me down. I have had 2 tacomas in the last 10 years and loved them. I just needed a little more, found an opportunity and went for it.
I did get the 5.0L - I was never interested in the ecoboost

You'll be happy with the f150. Never had problems with the few I've owned.
