I think I was 19 when I met my girlfriend and she was 17. Now I am 21 and she is 19 so I think I have been in the clear all along. Lol

17 considered and adult. 16 is a minor, and that's when the two or three year limit comes into play... but if you're an adult and smashing a minor, say a 17 y/o and a 16 y/o, you can be charged.
