Hey guys. A favor to ask. I am questioning a measurement we made and don't have a Tacoma handy to check.

I'm looking for the distance between the two frame studs that the bumper slides over on the left and right side. Centerline to centerline. See attached pic.

If anyone can get that measurement for me I would appreciate it so I can verify our numbers.

It will be somewhere between 1 3/4" and 2 1/4".

FIRST ONE TO POST ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS EARNS A U.S. OFF ROAD T-SHIRT SHIPPED TO YOU FOR FREE!

This is important so if you can't get a clear and precise measurement please don't post it.

    Thanks!

I just measured by looking through the cutout in the side of the bumper in my 2013 DCSB TRD OR, but it was hard to tell from the vantage point. It was either 1 3/4", 1 13/16", or 1 7/8". From my angle, I think it was 1 13/16", but it was an odd angle. If no one else gets back to you by about 4, I can take a better look at home.

Well... 1 3/4" is what our measurements were. I was under the assumption that they were the same (other than 2 studs vs 3 on the outside) as the FJ, but that is not the case.

pahennessey and Jeffsdeere... PM me your tshirt size and mailing addresses.

    Thanks!

Consider it time to go do some wheelin'... here's a fun vid of an Aussie diesel powered FJ40 crawler (who doesn't like 40's?) to watch while you wait. Gotta love the Aussies.

I'd kill to have this rig.
