If I get my headers, exhaust, and new power steering lines on in the next couple weeks that's good enough for me. I'll still have a bunch of other stuff for anything day.

they dont have any 13s, just checked. otherwise if it was new and still on the lot id look at it first

which i am a believer in. but i do feel like i would be losing something going to an old 1st gen from my nissan personally.

im to that point right now where i would like a lower mileage and the cost is justifiable to me plus the use of having extra space, towing and im just tired of having used cars,ha. they are the only thing i have ever had out of my 5 cars. my car has 104k which isnt much at all but i would prefer something with a lot lower and i wont have to do maintenance on for a little.

It would give you mod money to make it everything and more than your nissan, which can't take much. It's a truck. It shouldn't have all the frills.

Well that was fun... just tried to put a 500 hp RWD car on performance tires into a storage unit with 1/2 a mile of snow and ice at the entrance..

dont get me wrong i would love to own new and not have to worry about anything other than maint but at the same time it seems like the 14's dont have as much as the 12-13 and those seem to have more annoyance than the 09-11. the only way i can justify 09-11 is that they seem to have less miles (im looking for no more than 60k which is extremely difficult) and it'll be 4x4. other than that i still cant wrap my mind around getting a "newer" vehicle with the exact same interior as my truck.

i dont need frills, but there are some things ive grown to like and wouldnt mind maintaining. plus i had no luck finding a clean 1st gen for a decent price.

well you already have a 07... i wouldnt be looking for a new one at all if i had one.

the 14s give up a little, but i know ill get a better rate on them, and i can take advantage of the graduate program. the few things that are given up i can live without.
