    I have a question about these. I wanted to level my Taco after the TSB I just got done. I have a 1.75" front lean and was wondering if I bought the 883's or the 884 is that all I need to buy? I have a 09' DC TRD OR do I need longer shocks or anything else?

    884s will probably get you close to level...The OME coils are designed to go with the OME shocks...but they can be used with the stock shocks.

    The OMEs will level you font to back, but not side to side. If you get Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks for the front you can correct both though.

    You can use the OME 5mm trim packer to fix that lean as well...I went from more than 1/2 inch off to less than 1/8th

    You can shim the OME's for side to side level. Unless you get the threadded adjusters on the 5100's, then you have to use shims with them as well.

    True, but if your just wanting to level the truck, The Bilstein shocks with stock coils will probably give you a better ride and be much cheaper than stock shocks and OME coils.

    LOL!! I agree that its cheaper. Sorry. I think the ride will be the same, as the 5100's preload the existing springs putting their spring rate near 620# or so, vs. the OME 590# rate. :eek:

    What do the 885's run? I thought they were around 220 a set right? With a pair of billys going for around190ish? I am thinking install too though. Installing new Billy's require me paying about another 80$ for some shop to install the shocks and I can do the OME's myself. So that being said is the ride quality that much different?

    Yes just to level the truck. honestly the only wheeling I will do is basically going to be on park maintained roads. Rutted but no rock crawling ect nothing too bad. I had a jeep for years and never really did anything too harsh with it. Had 32's on it with a 2' lift and it was all I ever needed. Right now though my truck kinda looks like it is a dog sniffing for a place to take a leak :D

    Dang TSB lifted the rear so much its laughable. I see where people were getting 1/2" or so I got a good 1 1/2 on the driver side and an 1" on the passenger. OK I guess I will go with the Billies. I hate to use a shop though. I like to do my own work but I have no compressor and never used one before so... I guess I will have to get a shop to install the Billy's for me/ Thanks guys appreciate it.

    That is exactly what I plan on doing myself. I can do all the removal and install just need to take them to a shop to compress and install the shocks into the springs. If I was to do that and take a set of Billy's into a shop with my factory coils to be installed it should only take what and hour tops for labor?

    Yeah that had to hurt. So $40 sounds like a half hour of labor to me. Cool I guess I will do that. Is it worth it to get the 5100's for the rear too if I have the TRD OR? I mean if going 4 wheeling is not a big deal with me? I mean will it improve highway ride quality?
