I have 4x 285/75/17 New Nitto Terra Grapplers All Terrain.

They measure to about 33.8 inches tall. I got them because a friend was selling 3 of them for cheap and I picked up the 4th to complete the set.
2 still have the hairs and have seen little to NO use. The other 2 have about 700 miles on them.

I would LOVE to put these tires on but shit soon I will not have any fender flares or bumper left, just axles haha!

    UPDATE: I'm looking to SELL

My current tires are bald as hell and, while i have had a great deal of fun drifting around the streets when it rains, I need better tires with the snow trips ahead.

I am open to all offers. Here's my number, don't abuse it 714-271-617(8+1)

I am located in Fountain Valley, southern california. Thanks!

If you can find me a shop that will sell the tires I need for cheap then my price is theirs! Follow me?

I believe I can get my size of these tires for $950 online (don't know if that's with shipping). If that's the case I'll take 950! Not trying to make any money on this, just tires :)

Wish you were closer, got a couple month old set of 285-70-17's BFG AT's I would work something out on. They are too big for my 4 banger, but would fit a Dodge Ram we have.

Brother if that was the case I would throw them on. These tires measure out to be basically 35's. My current tires are 33's.

Bump for you, this is a great size tire for the Tacoma. I just installed my old lift (OME 886's/Dakars), tires (Toyo AT 285/75r17) FJ steel wheels on a buddies truck thought it turned out awesome.

Bump! I still need tires and by next Friday! Gonna be icy at Mammoth Mountain...

If I have to I'll throw these things on but I'd rather not.

I think what he's saying is there will only be about a half inch extra clearance between the fenders and the tires. Also the ones you have don't look to be 35s. :notsure:

    Overall diameters from Nitto website:
    LT285/70R17 E126R 32.76
    LT285/75R17 E121Q 33.86

I stand corrected! My apologies if I've mislead anyone I guess I was misinformed. I have 285/70/17 BFG AT's on right now and when I held these new tires next to my old ones they looked enormous!

Still, just by looking at them I have a good feeling they will be trouble...
If I can't get any smaller ones I may just run them and see how bad it is.

Sorry for my confusion, BLT2TUK and thanks for clearing that up xJuice!

Just a thought. . . It may be obvious, but you're comparing a smaller tire with no tread to a larger tire with full tread. Your no-tread tires could be close to an inch smaller than when they were new.

BeeRadd how much lift are you running? You may want to mount one up and test fit it, the tire should become smaller/narrower mounted depending on rim width. So you may be closer than you think on these fitting I thought I would need to chop the cab mount and trim up my buddies truck to make these fit and they cleared no trimming he gets rub backing up at full lock. Here is a pick of only the front lifted on clapped out stock rear springs.

I had absolutely no rub with these tires before I got my UCA's and an alignment, lol. I'll probably end up trying if I can't find a good trade. My tires already rub so, I know it's only .5" but that's probably gonna be a lot more rubbing than I can deal with.

    Thanks for the advice!
