Nice to see the south finally getting into craft beer! I was in florida over the summer and was suprised to find out that theres only a couple micro breweries in the whole state. A few people have told me that the south hasnt really "caught on" to that yet. And, at least in Key West, theres only a handful of bars that serve decent beer. I figured everybody down there just drinks margaritas, haha.
I'm guess I'm just spoiled, in the Philly area alone there are like 20 breweries, plus all kinds of taprooms and beer bars. Even buffalo wild wings has like a 30-tap draft list.

I took a tour of the AB plant outside of town recently. The best part of the tour was when the tour guide asked if we could taste the hop "bite" of Bud Light. Everyone on the tour was a brewer, we all looked around like wtf?

Unfortunately not. This guy was a recent grad of Colorado School of Mines, chemical engineer. His favorite beer is Bud Light. He dug a hole that there was no escaping from.

In a way, that is sad. But then again a lifetime of macroshit beer is a choice.

It's good. It's a brand new brewery that just opened up. There's only 7-8 places in Shreveport to get it and it's all on draft. I jot this from the tasting room opening party Thursday night
