    Just ordered the hero3 black addition. Didn't even know about the hero3+ until after, but it was $70 more and didn't look like I would be gaining all that much from the extra money anyway. After ordering the camera, I have already ordered a naked case for mounting, a suction mount, and a tripod mount. Also got a mic adaptor, and will be getting a chest mount ordered.

    Also bought a bunch of pvc and fittings to make a third person type backpack mount. You can say I'm excited, everything should be getting here on friday :)

    go pro people, editing people. first time making a video in at least a year haha. critique away


    anyone else have editing tips, other videos they want to share?



    i did this test when we had a recent snow fall. I wanted to make sure the go pro worked and try to remember how to use the editing software i havent opened since last year, so i can be more prepared for ski season.

    My only goal was to take some normally boring videos, and by editing them make it somewhat interesting. My inspiration for this came soley from a demo video they use in a gopro display at work. While they have cool clips of athletes doing cool shit they have a couple shorts just of a dad throwing a baby in the air and the baby playing, and another short of a small kid being thrown and playing in a pool.

    I thought its incredible those guys that make the go pro vids can make the most mundane activity look awesome. So that is just what im shooting for. Take some lame clips of sliding in the snow, and mash them together to make them tolerable. I didnt really plan it out...just stuck the camera places and went outside and derped around and wanted to see what i could make out of the shitty clips i had. So critique away :thumbsup:

    When editing, it helps to have at least 10s clips. Try and avoid jump cuts. If you need to, correct the exposure and color for everything for a nice consistent look.
