5" at my site today of soaking wet sloppy snow

 

Just more freezing rain here....

 

Nothing here. Ground is dry.

 

Hankook ATm's are not impressive in wet snow

 

Neither are Pirelli ATR's. Cant wait til My MTR-K's come in.

 

meh they are okay in snow, if its wet snow good luck



honestly best combo tire is the duratrac, studdable, awesome in snow, buy the right load rating and BOOM great rock tire too


granted ill be switching back and forth between my dura's and MTR's

 

My issue is the tires are warn funny. They messed up an alignment and I didn't catch it for a couple months. Then fighting with them over it, I rotated my tires. another couple months passed. SO they finally did the alignment properly and 'warranty'd" the tires. Giving me 50% off my next tire purchase. -> the MTR's

He had to special order them. Were set to be in this month or right after the new year.


Anyways. The wet snow and ice we had a week ago was horrible. Not a novice in the snow either.

 

yeahhhhhhhh Im used to having snow on the ground from september/oct to late may….



I ran red letter grabbers, and hell I even found them better in wet snow hahaha granted I think that was because they were 33's….. the MTR's area little large for winter hahaha

 

I wish they made Duratracs in a C rated 255/80/17

 

Wet snow is a whole different creature than dry fluffy snow for sure

 

ugh stay away from me if your wheeling with c rated tires hahaha, i haven't ran anything other e rated in soooo long

 

My last 2 sets have been E's , I really don't do anything worse than logging / fire roads to be honest

 

i still couldnt step down to c's, id be blowing tires in the terrain i go to work in, D's are a minimum


BUT yah lets face it, my truck doesn't move from the garage anymore unless its to go wheeling now lol
