Hey, y'all. I've posted in a few other threads over the last few days trying to figure out which Tacoma I was gonna go with. Here's what I got so far

    Special Order-won't have until Summer : /

'14 DCSB TRD Off-Road V6 6spd MT Blue Ribbon Metallic
    TRD Exhaust
    TRD Short Shifter and Knob
    Spare Tire Lock
All Weather Mats and Door Sill
    Bed Extender
    Etune Premium Audio

= $32,500 + TTF. OPINIONS? Good deal or not?

New to the forum but not new to tacos. This is my 4th tacoma in the last 10 years.

    2014 Magnetic Gray DCSB
    4x4 SR5 extra value package
    Tow package
    Entune plus
    16" alloy wheels
Carpet floor mats & sill protector

    MRSP $32,150
    Paid $29,500 + ttl
    OTD $32,197

    Here are some tips:
-If they tell you what invoice is usually they're lying, if they tell you that they are losing money, they're lying
-Regardless of where you live, you should get a new vehicle out the door for the MRSP sticker price
-The "Dealer/Transfer" is BS and that's just fluff for negotiating room

    ***OPTIONS***FEATURES***PACKAGES***YAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! :D:D:D
    DON"T PAY FOR THEM!!

-Entune Nav is a waste, iPhone & Android GPS function better
-Factory all weather mats are garbage. I suggest go buy these from Amazon and save some money (yes they fit the 2014 DC perfectly:cool:)
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EGO5R4A/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
-Tint (which they all have), clear bra, running boards, bed mat, skid plate, etc....I'd rather buy this stuff so that I know what I'm getting
-IMO I don't buy TRD Sport or TRD Off Road. It's an inflated option that get's you a sticker on your rear quarter panel. I'm putting a 3" Bilstein 5100 kit with a AAL from Toytec and 33" tires, 17" rims and putting a billet grill, darker tint, short antenna, etc (pics to come, waiting for everything to ship) If you're leaving the truck stock and want the TRD package for resell than go ahead and get it but all I want is the base 4x4 with a factory tow package.
-If you think you're getting a deal because you got a great warranty or they filled up the tank of gas or you get 2 years of Toyota care with free tire rotations and oil changes don't be fooled, EVERY dealership gives you that.
-Toyoguard IMO is a waste. You're buying a brand new car with a steller factory warranty and reputation. Dealers make money off upsell warranties
-VIN number engraving? The salesman tried to sell this to us, it's something about if your truck is stolen that the VIN is everywhere on the truck to recover the parts?? um no thanks. It was like $190
-When dealing with the finance person, read all the line items and question everything! If they give you a good price on the vehicle, they'll try and make it up in financing and trade ins and extended warranties

Just my 2 cents. Happy taco buying!

Traded in my 2012 DCSB SR5 4x4 with 29kmi on it, rust on the underside from spending a year in NY road salt, scratches on the left rear door from a dog jumping on it, and stains in the back seat from my 2 year old and got $27,050. Which is not bad since I paid $28,400 ($31,200 OTD) last June for it brand new. Saw it on the lot a couple weeks ago for $32,xxx. Outrageous.

    Got a 2014 DCSB
    TRD Off Road
    Entune Plus
    Tow Pkg
Carpet floor mats with sill protector (and I have a set of all weathers already.)

    Paid $32998 for the truck
$346 for CA registration - never again... reregistering in my home state
    $2495 tax

Didn't get as good of a deal as I wanted... but I got rid of my rusty NY truck that had driven everywhere from FL to VT to CA. I think I did well on my trade in which didn't give them much room to work on my new truck.

Let them keep the mats ($170) and buy weathertech. Or, I'll sell you my new toyota mats for 1/2 price! They are worthless.

Picked up my 1st Tacoma less than 2 weeks ago. SR5 Tow package 4x4. 2013 left over with 8 miles on it. $30,199.00 out the door. I love it. Probably would have spent more if I had too lol.

Li0nel, Do you get yours from a Denver dealership? If so, which? That's the same package I'm looking for at the same price.

    Cheers,
