Does anyone actually use their sunglasses holder?

I lost my stingrays on Labor day, reaching over to untie my sister & brother in laws boat from the dock. Boo hoo. I have a set of MJ lagoon's and some O Flak Jackets, but I sure miss my stingrays. I'll have another pair soon. And yes, I never had an issue with them fitting at all.

 

My sunglasses won't fit in the holder so I keep non-prescription spares in there for friends who forget theirs.

 

My Oakley Monster Dogs fit perfectly. My work Oakleys live in the center console.

 

2nd gens do too, at least on manuals. You have to pull up on the cupholders. Will hold lots of "stuff".

I voted yes I use it for sunglasses but that was in the AC. The RC has no ovh so the garage door opener is homelink rr view mirror and the glasses went to the cubby in front of shifter.


So, they cheaped out on the 13s and put 2 sunglasses things up there and eliminated the garage door opener holder? That sucks........unless you park outside. 1 for switches and 1 for glasses I guess..............

My Oakley's stay in the center console

 

The high end Tacomas get TWO holders in lieu of the compass and temp guage thing. This is because we are so ballin that we need two spots for our backup shades and we are too cool to care where we are going, and seriously, who cares what the temp is.....

 

Yes, but my Oakleys only fit in one direction. Sometimes I forget what the orientation is and have switch it around a couple times.

 

I put my garage door openers in it.

Yeah, I'll have me another set pretty quick. Part of my benny package about keeping my eyes safe over the long term. Since I don't have to use glasses, I'm able to get a script for quality sunglasses every 2 years at no cost for me. So, I will be getting some stingrays soon. Over the years I've lost 2 pair to the water. Thinking I'll start wearing the flaks to the beach etc. The Maui Jim Lagoons I have are almost exactly like the stingrays, just slightly longer lenses, but I still like the rays better.

 

I needed a cup holder, so I converted mine.

 

I use it for my weed.... always ready to roll that way..

 

Yes, business cards, receipts, wallet on occasion. I carry a small magnetic clasp for credit cards, cash, license etc.

 

Garage door clicker, bought the center console organizer from salex on the forum and put my shades in one of the center console compartments..

 

Costa's fit in the big one, Natives in the small one. One for sun, one for rain, fog, etc.

 

I use it. I also put drinks in the cup holder.

 

i have a knife in my sunglass holder. my sunglasses wont fit and its nice to have a knife right there just in case

 

You mean it's not on you at all times? lol
