Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Remember the hill we got to on moonlight Ben? Konsta and I walked up it pretty easy, he is on his brand new MTR's and I am on my half tread KM2's. The Toyota Pickup on new Grabbers couldn't get up it nor could the 4runner on AT's (not sure what ones).

The pickup on grabbers is locked in the rear and the 4runner is open/open. I made it farther than the 4runner and as far as the pickup when I tried it open/open after they got it all slick from trying. I literally skiied back to the bottom of the hill when I couldn't go any further The funny thing is both the 4runner and pickup were aired down to 8 psi and got some crazy ass runs at it. There were aired up higher before and when they couldn't make it they both dropped to 8 to try to make it and it didn't get them any further. When I went open/open, I was at 25 psi and didn't even get a run at it really.

I wish Cameron would have come. Would have been cool to see him try it with his KM2's as well.

 

Yeah, I wanted to try pretty bad too. We probably would have got a chance if Konsta wasn't on a time crunch, but where Nate and Konsta were having so much trouble I don't think we would have faired any better.

You are going to die when you come back to Idaho! haha. My wife and I went to Hawaii last January, it was -7 when we left and -9 when we got back, we froze to death because it was about 75 the whole time in Hawaii.

Looks like he's splitting clear balsa wood , haha

 

I take it that wood is pretty easy to split or something? I know nothing of wood, though I have split some here and there.

 

Balsa wood is a tropical wood that model airplanes are made out of , the wood in that video is probably wet alder or similar , super easy splitting

 

The last wood I split was pretty damn hard to split. I had to take a sledge to the back of the axe to get it to split.
