If you use a custom aftermarket windscreen and park in the sun, cover your gauges with a towel or t-shirt or something.

Many of them act as magnifying glasses and will melt your gauge cluster.

I Also picked mine up with only 2,500 but Iv'e put about that much on the bike already which I'm almost glad its winter time so I will stop riding it!

How much more of a space will I get? Because i like to tuck in but I really don't know if the look of the corsa would be to tourist.

Do you think the dark smoke acrylic will burn the clusters as well, or act as a sun glasses to the gauges?

Get a smoked one, preferably a light smoke so you can still see out of it. It'll protect your gauges....SV's had similar issues with "hot-spotting" the LCD cluster.

Thanks, it started off looking so lame. Black levers, HIDs, flush turn signals, powder coated foot peds, CF peg eliminator, seat cowl, motodynamics tail light and a few other goodies made it so much better. Oh and wheel tape, wheel tape makes any bike look better.

Never picked the front end up more than a foot and only did that once, but after watching my dad almost get hit by a prius and doing 150+ mph daily I figured I better sell it if I wanted to live past 25 :D

I'm thinking about getting new fairings on mine and going black/carbon fiber with red and gold highlights.

Yes it is an 2009 XR1200, the XR1200 sold in Europe before it came to the U.S. in 09, it has since been discontinued here(2012) but still sells in Europe. When I found out it had been discontinued here I thought I lost my chance to own one but now feel very fortunate to have found this low miles(2,800)bike that is in near perfect shape:)
