Does anybody stalk craigslist searching for deals? I know I do, and there is always some Tacoma related stuff that makes me say WTF?
Like this guy selling worn out tires:
    Image1.jpg
Or this guy trying to sell a stock air intake. Who needs a stock intake?
    Image4.jpg

Or this guy selling 5 injectors with 118k miles on them. 5 injectors because having 6 working cylinders is so over rated?
    Image3.jpg

This guy has a wrecked bed for sale:
    Image2.jpg

What make you say WTF on Craigs list?

Craigslist has become the stop for many things before seeing the trash dump. Its funny seeing people sell trying to sell stuff way overpriced (saw a set of stock dunlops for $700)
Its fun to browse through the car ads too, people trying to sell polished turds and dealers that have the famous line in the ad "this car wont last at this price" but you see the original post date on the ad and it is months old.

Stock intake might be wanted by someone who has a CAI and either decided that they don't want it because of the dirt that it allows into the engine, or bought the truck from out of state and found that the CAI does not pass smog in their state.

My truck is missing the secondary charcoal filter on the airbox and I will likely be looking for a new lid before it needs to be smogged next year.

Looking for a shell for my Tundra and found this: http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/pts/4207730203.html

Here's what the ad says in case it gets deleted (not like they're going to have much luck selling it with this description):

"You can pick up the camper at this ugly bitch's house. Chic named Nena. She is old. trashy drunk and BUTT UGLY, but she's a control freak so the only way you can buy the camper is by order of Queen Nena the UGLY.

2000 Toyota tundra factory camper shell in good condition"

I understand the stock intake though , somebody's intake could be broken and they don't want to pitch out the money for a new one

You never know what people want. Someone may be building a trail rig and have beat up stuff, say the bed, that one may be in a hell of a lot better shape than theirs and want to pick it up. Never know.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Now I've GOT to know what Nena looks like. If someone in San Antonio can swing by Patricia St and post a pic that would be sweet.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    Link for the stock intake?

(My secondary carbon/emissions filter has been marinating in engine oil since my rollover, and living in CA means I gotta make sure I can pass smog).

And yeah, no CAI for me because of the dirt issue, and because my Stealth Snorkel does the job better.

They used to say eBay was a worldwide garage sale, but I think craigslist owns that title....as someone said earlier list it on CL before chucking it in the trash.

My wife routinely posts cloth diapers my youngest one grows out of, and people line up to buy them....used diapers for crying out loud...gross

ebays good for world wide. Craigslist good for in the state/around the area.

Ive bought and sold many things on there, but sometimes it makes me think wtf on some of the shit people post. Some things it seems people just want their trash hauled away for free.

when I wasnt working, I used CL to find side jobs. I found my current job thru CL over 2 years ago. It worked out perfect, since at the time I didnt care much about much and was into the fly-by-night services.

    Color me intrigued.

    Stealth Snorkel?

    Understand, I'm a 5-lug and the most "off-road" I do is fire roads passable by a Rav-4.
