no reclining seat?

    Dumped exhaust, 35 % factory tint, kobalt slim line toolbox, afe pro dry, toyota all weather mats, fog lights soon.
    why doesnt my bench seat recline? is that retarted or what?

    Step bars, billet grill with custom TOYOTA, MB Quart RSI 216 components, Hifonics ZXi 4410, RAAMmat deadened doors/back wall/roof covered with ensolite , 24" Magnaflow muffler, hand polished stock exhaust tip, tinted, OEM TRD Bilstiens all around with 1/4" spacers up front to level it out. Sport wheels added.
    it does not recline because you bought an 09. At least the 08 had reclining buckets. I love mine BTW.:boink::D

    Yep... another '09 bench seat owner here too. I would have paid more for buckets... but I wasn't gonna pay $3k more for the Access Cab just to get the buckets. Stupid that they weren't available in the reg. cab. The bench is pretty comfortable as benches go (at least each side is sort of contoured like individual seats), but yeah... buckets would have been much better. Oh well.

    You could always swap in some buckets from a wrecked truck - but there might be issues with the side airbags. Not sure. I think it's been discussed on here before.

    I actually decided to not get an 09 just because of that. I wanted a regular cab and found out I couldn't get buckets. Instantly started looking for an 08 and they had one used on the lot. I am not exactly tall, and can actually use the recline very well. Works most excellent for me.
