Thanks for the thoughts and comments. Some events are beyond comprehension, and well...I thank God for the outcome. Everyone involved in the recovery are still shaking their heads. Had I managed to go a little further we would have dropped off a 100 ft embankment into an old growth fir forest...chances of human and truck survival would have been miniscule. Christmas came early this year... and the wood was successfully delivered to an elderly widow tonight.

Finished up the Bezel for my black Ipad mini i'm getting for Xmas


GPS receiver so I can get a GPS signal for the WIFI only iPad Mini.

 

Got my new HU installed. Pioneer AVH-X2600BT so far so good. Thought I had everything I needed, but missed ordering the apple lightning to VGA for video from iPhone. Should have it by thur or Friday then I am in business. One checked off the growing list!

Did almost the same thing in a F550 loaded with salt on a hill with a 20 Degree incline in Nov. Truck came to rest on a ledge with a 20 foot drop beneath, but only before it rolled all the way on to the passenger door, then righted.
Where I am in Northern NH, it's gravel roads. Town grits 'em, but no salt, as we all know what happens to gravel roads once salted....
Sucks, and I swear the damn ice hides waiting for ya.

I like Road Armors, but I hate their prices. Lets just say I got these front and rear for what a front RA bumper with top bars would cost shipped

 

Put another can of Fluid Film into my frame since it was still so salty as far as washing it off. Spent time focusing on the known trouble areas.

Pulled my Valentine One out of storage and hooked it up for laughs and put on the alternate center caps for my MB TKOs.

 

Here's the rear. Still need to adjust it a little bit. But now that it's on I can do that anytime. Ill get a better angle later
