Walker is more like Burlington/Mt Vernon which is still 30 miles south of Bellingham. I also heard that Walker is a bad idea for those without sliders.

Almost got clipped going over an overpass just over the Wisconsin border.. It was in a valley, and had iced over. Was able to stop (ABS Kill Switch), about 2 feet from the two cars that collided.

Then a semi flipped on its side. That was interesting..

I know, but it's on my truck's bucket list :p

I wasnt really planning a trip, just more of a "Hey, I'm in B-Ham. Let's grab a beer" type of thing. I make it up there a few times a year to visit Sandy's family. We usually take her Sante Fe to save on gas, but I think I'd make an excuse to take the Taco

Thank you. It was way too long at 6k feet altitude... without a truck.

Yeah. "Training" for 6 weeks. I don't think I have the popularity here to win the contest though :(. You have a much better chance than I do. I think this is coming down to "who has the best looking truck already."

Yup, seems that way. I don't think it's about popularity or the best sob-story, but it's hard to be objective with these type of contests. I'm just glad it's limited to TW, and not any social media outlet

I think it's flattering to be in the running though. :humble:

I agree. I'd be screwed if it was twitter or Instagram. I hope to win. That'd be awesome. But, I know the item I'm getting from my ss is going to be pretty sweet too....

    Voted. Good luck you guys!

I agree with the popularity contest thing (that's what happens on every forum) but oh well it was fun to read other peoples' stories.

Can't wait to see it, esp. after your PM. Like everyone else said, I had more fun picking stuff out and seeing what others got. Still waiting on mine...

A couple people are getting mad at me b/c they want to get me something for my truck for Christmas and I told them to wait until I get my SS gift.

Brady, have you gotten anywhere with actually recovering your stuff that was stolen? Also any word on what has happened/is going to happen to the thief/thieves? Any connection found to any of your neighbors? If needed, I am still up to help you with vigilante justice.

Not yet. Haven't heard anything back from fedway police. I think I will call them after Christmas to see where things are...

And I am not sure about the neighbors, although they don't seem to be living there anymore?
