Guess I need to look at mine to understand. Some jackass at Firestone took a grinder to one of the small rectangular protection lugs.

Without them it is fucking impossible to get and then hold an alignment.

Yeah I am kinda hosed there since the shop won't admit their tech may not have put enough ass on it even though I was standing there when a different tech went to fix it and commented on how loose it was...kinda sucks. I am thinking I might try and do it myself and have Brent or someone weld them in place. Just looks like a job that could be done easily when also doing a clamshell swap From ECGS.

Yes and no....because you are going to need an alignment when it is done. The last thing you want is to worry about finding a place to get an alignment in NC

No I was thinking of just ordering the 3rds and doing it myself...depending on how much money I save on deployment I may also be tossing in some new LCAs... ;)

I have been debating this a lot(LCA). However, all that money and you don't really gain anything other than a uniball on the LCA, which still doesn't add to down travel. My down travel is limited by my UCA....and the up travel is limited by the wheel well and the bump stops..... so what are you really gaining with them? The OEM LCA is very strong, so, that 1,600 could go else ware....IMHO

This.. By the time you do it you are almost half way there to a SAS if you go leaf springs.

I was looking into this but decided the money would be better spent in a crawl box.
