you always have to respect a coach for doing that and not looking the other day or like urban meyer did and sit the player for 1 play and saying he didn't get to start.

 

Oh I respect Richt for doing it, just hate losing them for the game. Out D has been pathetic. I'm tired of having to score 30+ every game to hope to win. I remember not too long ago saying if we scored 30 it would be a sure win.

So I guess I'm cussing the foul, not the suspension.

 

How do you respect him, when this is the second time this season the one guy has been suspended?

 

Well first off I don't know what he has done either time to get suspended. Must be fairly minor because Richt has kicked guys off the team for some severe things. Second as already stated Richt will suspend guys regardless of the game ahead. And last I would like to think he's learned his lesson, if not he may be on a thin line now.

Well that is one thing with Richt, at least imo. He would rather lead these kids in the right direction than win a championship.

With that said, we are a big party school. And I'm not taking shots by saying this, but imo the partying fouls are not that bad, better than some other things that have went on around college football. I mean this kids for the first time are away from home, so yeah, they're gong to want to party. I'm not saying it's ok, just that it's bound to happen. Hell most of us all did it at that age to some form.

 

That's what "violation of unspecified team rules" means 95% of the time.

 

That was the first suspension. This was "violation of team rules". So, good possibility it's the same thing. However, after seeing Richt discipline players for like 12 years now, if it was that a second time, I think there would be a more severe penalty than just suspension of the bowl game.
