Best vehicle to teach driving a standard transmission?

So the old lady wants to learn to drive the stick. Makes sense if she needs to get us out of a jam in my truck. I want to teach her but i sure as hell dont want her learning (burning up the clutch) on my rig. So i come you to yall; what do you think has the kindest learning curve? Car? Truck? Make?

 

I learned in a 4cyl 5spd taco....i've heard subarus are good to learn in though

 

something with awd, a race clutch, and high horsepower...

You joke, but that's exactly what I learned on. This is me giving my friend a ride before Junior prom. First car I learned to drive a stick with. That stroker motor and TKO600 set me up for life

I learned on a 1971 VW Bus. It's great because it teaches you how to be nice to it!

 

I learned on an old 82' 5 speed toyota, i love it to death..

 

Rental.. or a corolla.. That's what I learned on, the little rubber-band clutches in em are great, reasonably short throw on the stick so she's not having to move her arm all the way just to change gears (although I do love drivin trucks with that long through..) and it's a yota, it's strong so she won't kill it as fast.. I thought a bunch of my friends on my old car

 

I learned to drive a stick in a 91 Honda Civic. It was always a pretty easy clutch. Kia Rios suck, though, let me tell you.

 

In ll seriousness, a small dirt bike. Teaches how to feel the engagement of the clutch more easily than in a car.

The first manual I ever drove was a our 1979 Gmc 5500 dump truck 4 speed on the floor jus drove it around the farm that's where I started then it was to a 91 Toyota 4 cylinder

 

Learned on a cj2a jeep. The easiest I've ever driven was a new ford car. I think it was the fiesta. Barely even needed the clutch haha

 

Honda civic, clutch is easy to learn with.

 

I learned on my '92 4Runner pretty easy once you get the pivot down and now its second nature
