Can do! Just boil until you can peel skin off.:drool::drool:
More trouble finding them than making them. Too many people are finding out about how good they are! :D

I've had knee issues the last four years I think... Doc didn't find anything wrong  but they still pulled a syringe and a half of fluid off my knee  and we're not talking a little syringe either. Said all they saw (two different doc's said the same thing) I have some arthritis in there... Still bothers me to kneel down, but much better than it was.

    Have at it!!!

Two semi-wet dogs now... all clean for Christmas :D Now they are pouting

Morning everyone!! We had temps in the low 60s here yesterday - with enough rain to melt the 8 in of snow we had, even where it was plowed into piles. On the good side, I was able to get back up on the roof yesterday morning to replace the Christmas lights that were pulled off 2/3 of the back porch roof by the ice storm of last week. It was wet but 30 deg warmer than when I first put them up 2 weeks ago!!

The college is closed now until January 6 - so how do I start my first day of the time off? I have to be at a meeting at our Chamber of Commerce at 8AM - in a suit. Woo Hoo!!! 2 hour+ meeting. Ugh.

I feel for everyone with the knee issues. Been dealing with a bad right knee since I had surgery back in 1972. By 1990, the arthritis was severe enough that I almost got tossed from the Army - until I was able to convince a young Army doctor that if I branch transferred from Artillery to a non-combat arms branch, I wouldn't have to run anymore. [IMG] 2 weeks later, I was wearing MI brass...still running a carrying my 80lb ruck. AT that point, the doctor told me I was 5 years away from a knee replacement. I stayed in the Army another 13 years until I retired...and still have that knee. Motrin is my friend.

Almost done with the Christmas shopping - just need to get some stuff for the pups! It wouldn't be Christmas without having them open a few packages. [IMG]

Morning 6. I saw the "heat wave" on the news just now. Shame all your snow is gone right before Christmas. We've had around 8 to 10 inches last 2 days. Think I'll break out the snow blower to clear the drive this morning.

Between my knees, and arthritis in my neck from the moose taking the roof off my car while trying for my head, I wouldn't have made it through my last 4 years on active duty without good ole vitamin M (Motrin). That and my right hand man/NCOIC, Bryan, dragging me around the track 3 to 5 times a week and pacing me through my last 3 fitness test runs. The VA is still issuing Vitamin M to me in the big 270 count bottles. ;)

Another suit day ... Sorry Sir ... Guess that's the price of leadership. :notsure: Last 4 yrs I've worn my suit (singular) twice; once when the oldest got married and again when a couple of young troops who used to work for/with me asked me to marry them. In AK a resident can perform a marriage one time; I assume it's law carried over from the early sourdough days. Figure I'll have to wear it twice more; once when our youngest gets hitched and when I die. Course it'd be more fitting to leave me in my Carhartts and send the suit to the Goodwill store. Same troop I did the marriage ceremony for once asked me if I owned anything besides uniforms and Carhartts, I replied "Yes and when Kristi makes me wear them I do." ;)

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
    Rob

    Morning all:
What would be wrong with being buried in the Carhartts? I could do that!
I have a nice wool shirt and wool pants that I would look good in. :D

I'm with you there Capt. The amount of money spent on funerals, caskets, burial plot, etc ... could definitely go to a better cause IMHO. Been thinking that for a few years and have told my wife as much. I've left it up to her what to do with the ashes. If she wants me on the mantle in an urn or something I don't care; or spread half in the Copper River out by Chitina, and the other half 3 miles out from Deep Creek in Cook Inlet. :D I really need to put that in writing some time. ;)

Been following everyone's posts. Will be driving to Pittsburgh Christmas Eve. Will have dinner at daughters house, go to Christmas Eve Service with my Son, Daughter-in-law and Grand Daughter. At my Son's In-Law's home Christmas day. Drive back to Erie early evening Christmas Day, visit with my wife's family in the evening.
Thank my lucky stars I have NO back or knee problems. When I was conceived, back in the early baby boomer days, God was short on brains for the newly conceived, so he gave me a strong back and good knees instead.
My wife, however, does have bad knees (arthritis) and is debating what should be done about them. She gets shots every so often, sometimes those cause more pain than the actual knee problem.
When the time comes, we have both decided to be cremated, although we have not picked out our favorite clothes yet.
    Enjoy the Holidays everone!

    Evening all:
Neat having a raccoon for a pet Capt.

Need a refill, anyone know where to get one. This would probably fix the knee problems!
    OOPS! It's a laxative! :D But the first ingredient is;
    Rx Ext. Nux Vomica
    (Strychnine 1/217 gr.)
Also states not to use if symptoms of appendicitis are present!
    100 tablets for $1.25, what a deal!

I don't doubt that's a laxative. The body would want to get rid of that stuff as soon as possible. "Nux Vomica"......Hmmmm....has a nice ring to it. :homer:
