    I don't think it would be too bad for you. Honestly the only thing I don't like about the whole leaving home is that I never see my gf. You have to grow up and leave home at some point anyways.

    Slim chance that I could be stationed at Hurlburt Field in the future....

    I'd love to be stationed at Holloman AFB, New Mexico again. Would like to be stationed in Vegas too if it wasn't for the 1 hour commute I'd have to make to work...

    My thinking only going to 35's is that it'll give me more clearance but still be bearable on the highways on long road trips. I don't see 37's being very feasible for driving 1,000+ miles on haha

    meh, i have my motorcycle for the summer, but thats almost as much a project as my truck is. My truck still has to be a reliable dd, ill just have a bit mroe leeway if i need to fix something. but i have no doubt if i didnt have the bike i would still be throwing bigger tires on it.
    if you went 5.29s...it would be. silas was getting 17-18 mpg with them. your top speed just keeps dropping.

    however you want to talk about breaking shit, 37s are a dam good argument. its not the 37s that break cvs and gears and axles, its what you are doing because you have 37s

    Yea that's true. Not for everyone. And 33s are a great size. Perfect size IMO for tacomas.

    Probably not..haha plus 37s push the diffs and cv.

    4wd 2.7 autos came factory with 4.56, but the 4cyl is not offered with the trd
    OR.

    On 4runners however I'm pretty sure there was a combination that did have the e locker and 4.56 gears.

    Od is really 4th gear, and on a std you get 5 gears. Having that extra gear means you don't need to gear down as much to keep the same amout of power. I know I said that really weird so pardon me.

    If you are looking for getting close to factory with a v6 auto 4.56 for 33, 4.88 for 35 and 5.29 for 37 IMO. If you want to argue just save it for another time, it comes down to preference and goals and driving habits

    Then if you have a std you have some more room to play with just due to the nature of a manual

    And if you have a 4 cyl...well you're just fucked no matter what.

    A 4 cylinder runner could have 4.56 e locked. However, they are like trying to find a unicorn. I called everyone on car-part that claimed they had one and everything turned out to be 4.30 from a v6. No v6 came with 4.56. I was going to go with 4.56, but they are so impossible to find that I settled for 4.30. With the manual trans 4.30 won't be bad though.
