Like many Tacoma owners who didn't want to drill their bumper, I used to place my license plate on my dashboard. For one I didn't feel safe doing it. I didn't feel comfortable about the possible danger to me.

If someone accidentally rear ends my truck while I'm on the road possibly at a stop light the license plate could easily fly off the dashboard and straight to my face or neck! Yeah, I don't mean to be so paranoid but it could happen to anyone.

Helps keep value when selling. A clean bumper would have more appeal than a drilled one, IMO.

I know that the truck might look nicer without a front plate but in many states it just gives the cops more of a reason to pull you over.

My other reason for liking this bracket is that I didn't like the look of the license plate where they want you to install it. It just doesn't look like it should be in that spot. The front of the truck just looks much nicer where the bracket holds the plate. Which is off the painted part of my pumper.

This License plate mount requires no drilling, no tools needed to install and it is a very unique "Snap-On" design. The spring part of the bracket is what keeps it in place tightly. And the bracket becomes even more sturdy when the license plate is screwed on. (The old Sly Brackets. New ones are Bozzmounts)

There is absolutely no way for anyone to remove this bracket by simply unsnapping it after the license plate is installed.

    Stay legal!

Great idea!!!! Dealership drilled holes before I got to them and with the 30" RI LED Bar I am putting in there I have to find somewhere else to mount it.

Great looking product though. Very innovative. I see a few places I would put some Heat Shrink or Plasti Dip to protect some parts but other than that definately -- Two Thumbs up to you!!

The arm that grabs on from the inside has a special feature intended to deter theft and the screws plays a part as well. So this bracket has two ways to avoid getting stolen. The license plate would have to be stolen first like normal license plate theft before the bracket is removed. But and then again bad people can steal anything if they want it bad enough.

    Good observation!
    Thank you, sir! :)
