    it gives a place for people to talk say you had a friend on here, rather than talking within a thread or creating a thread you can use the shoutbox

    Exactly....
    And if I understand correctly what it would be...(have seen them but never used them)
    It'd be 'in your face' (so to speak) and chances are, it would have more traffic than the current TW chatroom because it doesn't involved clicking to get there.

    I think it'd be neat. I never did like chat rooms, but if its right there while you're cruising the other threads....you know everyone will read & use it.
