Kind of sealed the deal for me. Too many good decent members to only be able to select 1.

Not in order of importance but those that have/are serving, those that are parents (kids are freakin expensive), those that are young/college/starting out and those without nice wheels already.

Oh and if there is any ass-kissing that needs to be done, now is a good time to do it :)

Great way to show love Vin, I'm sure whoever wins will love the wheels, I know i love mine!

I don't want to start a debate on here but if this was a contest about who is most deserving of nice wheels because the ones they have aren't great, well then obviously I wouldn't have entered. I've wanted to represent Vin and SCS wheels ever since I laid eyes on the stealth 6s. Instead this was a contest about a Tacoma owner and their truck and the bond that has been created between the two. Ive not only become attached to my truck, but also to the family I now have on here on TW. I appreciate all the love and support for those who voted for me thus far and wish the best of luck to all others in the contest.
I do love reading everyone's story. I just don't want to be the guy everyone hates on because my current wheels are "nice" and shouldn't be considered for a nice new set of SCS wheels I would love to represent. No I dont serve in the military, but I do serve as a Border Patrol Agent on the AZ Border. Regardless of whatever rumors you may hear, no one ever has it easy and no we truly are not over payed. We've struggled for the last 2 years taking small percentage cuts, sequestration, govt shut down with only partial back pay, and sacrificing shifts just to satisfy Congress because they couldn't pass a budget since 2008. I know everyone is being hit in some way. My pay back to all is continuing working on this Border; doing everything in my power to protect our frontlines and my family from the corruption and disgusting human beings that think they can come and do harm to us Americans as they please. I am here in the early hours of this Christmas, away from my family and girlfriend doing just that. Sorry for the rant, and for sake of not causing a crazy thread, if someone disagrees with me, just send me a PM. I'm 23 years old, with 1 semester in college and by luck have this career, but I am still learning something new everyday.

Again, thank you Vin and SCS for this opportunity, and Merry Christmas to all! :)

I liked your story, I thought is was good and very well presented, if you win I think you are deserving. Thank you for your public service. My comments about rims was not aimed at you, it was me opening my big mouth as per usual around here, everyone here knows I am rarely if ever at a loss of having an opinion. :p It was IMO what I thought made sense to me. I know Brady and and I like Cody, Craig, Monte and Lisa having interacted with them plenty over the years. I liked Ice Horse's story too, she seems like a sweet girl and very deserving. I liked everyone's story really, if it was up to me I would honestly have a hard time picking just one. I didn't vote for you, not because you already have aftermarket rims, it's that I felt there is someone a little more deserving:).
Bottom line is I know Vin personally and have been a cheerleader for his rims from the early design stages. He is genuinely a really good guy and a pleasure to do business with. I love my Stealth 6's as they absolutely set my truck off. It doesn't surprise me that he would do something like this as this would be entirely within his character. Whoever gets these rims is getting a lightweight, perfectly balanced, gorgeous set of rims built by a Tacoma guy for us Tacoma guys. I have no doubt in my mind the winner will be impressed.
    Merry Christmas all!

There is a reason why he has so many votes, because he is a great guy will help you out as much as he can, and really is great friends with almost everyone in the AZ section.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
The votes go where they go. It would behoove us all to remember that a vendor is giving a set of wheels away to a member of TW, and that's pretty cool no matter who wins them.

It's a popularity contest. All the names should be kept private and votes based on the stories, not names. But oh well. It's a great thing to do either way. I don't feel I deserve free wheels so I didn't apply.

Just gonna add to this: i'm just now seeing this giveaway. I looked at most of the candidates profiles and "stories." I must say i wish people would have been chosen who have less mods (money). Clearly many of these candidates aren't struggling and could buy their own wheels (most have). Why not see someone who doesn't have much excel from such a gift.

I mean no offence to anyone, but let's use T4C0CH40S's truck as an example. Someone who has the ability to build their truck like this shouldn't get a free set of wheels. That's like giving me food stamps.
Just my opinion - happy holidays.
