It was a text that said basically that. He gets that message a few times every winter :p

Luckily he's a bro and is down to recover my derps.

Haha its usually good for a laugh. Also I would really appreciate it if I was stuck and I knew I had help to come get me out.
Aspen did manage to get through some pretty gross amounts of snow in spots.

I have a 6 speed with 4.56 and 315 MTRs. Power seems about right to me, close to stock.

This is 6th gear without any speedo calibration.

Have fun finding 4.10's, there are no aftermarket 4.10's they only come from Toyota or out of a 4cyl tacoma. Ecgs might have some kicking around though, that would be your best bet. Personally I would go with 4.56 if I were you. At least they are readily available if you do bust a gearset.

That's exactly what I wanted to see. Thanks dude! 4:56 seems like a decent option still.

Anyone with 4:88s and a 6 speed want to chime in with a picture?

Considering I don't drive faster than 65mph(on the speedo), 4:56 will work for sure. And with 35s, I'll probably be keep the speedo at 55. (Highway speed limit is 62). So if the speedo is sitting at about 55(the larger tire size will be roughly 10% difference from factory), I wonder what the rpm would be at with 4:88s? I'm curious if I can actually get away with 4:88s.

Valid point. ECGS offers them supposedly. However 4:56 is more available. Since 4:56 and 4:88 aren't that much different, I wonder if I could get away with 4:88. Hmm

    i haz 4.56 w/ my 6 speed

    i wouldn't go 4.88s with a 6spd unless you're going >35s

4.56 is way low with 285s...my 305s are a nice fit as it's still low and torquey, i expect 315s to be about the same as the 305 mtrs with slightly better highway ratio

Ooo. That's not bad for a stock truck on stock tires.
Still the dunflops? Or did they change brand?

    Thanks.

I hope to get some parts on the way early into the new year. Both of my first purchases are held up by production set backs(machining/molds).

You got a flat bill to go with the lift? I'm sure with that lift the Rubicon won't stay hungry long for a set of 22's.

I just realized you were at Cochrane Toyota when I ordered my lift lol I was thinking you were the guy who was going to build the glass long travel Tacoma out there but alas your not.
