You can have mine if you want but we are a long ways away and it's not in very good shape

Edit: Only if you need it. If you are going to scrap it I might as well do that lol

I found a hidden mount from super winch for 179 and a winch 8k lbs for 325. I'll probably do that next summer.

Okay so I got $300 cash for Christmas for truck parts.
I can either save up another $100 and buy a scooped hood from dealership,

    OR

Get my windows tinted and have money left over to go towards my lift.

I'm thinking tint because I like the way my hood is honestly.

I'd skip both. Your hood does look good.

I'm going to get tint. Texted a guy about it and he said he will do it today.
I'm going to do 5% on back.. 35% is legal on the front but I want to go darker. Any suggestions? I was thinking 20% so it's not too dark.

You think it wont be be "too" dark but pair it with with 5 on the back and I promise it will be dark dark. I had 20% all the way around on my old mustang with a light tan interior and you couldn't see inside at most angles and when you could, you could only see a faint silhouette.

    No editing on this pic

The only reason you can see through them here is because both windows are cracked

Actually talk to Karson (Fern11), I think he has 5 on the back and 35 on the doors.

    Hey,
That isn't really something can be done in a couple of hours. The primer needs to cure then the paint so you can dip. Then a clear has to be sprayed and cured.
I'd love to do it here before to long. It will have to be on a Sunday. I work every Sat. I'll get the garage a little more setup and out of disarray.
I would not do it only for the fact that you are going to fail inspection. Then you will have to go through the trouble of having it removed and reinspected then more tint put back on if you wish. I'm an inspector and there are just too many ways for the DMV and police to catch both parties for illegal tint being passed. Plus, it is now a $290 ticket and it is an arrestable offense for illegal tint. 35% is a lot darker than you think when the rear is blacked out.

    This!^^

5% on the back and 35% on the rest is still legal and will be plenty dark! Getting that mustang inspected was such a headache and got lucky with never getting a ticket

Okay cool, thanks. Yeah I have an inspection due soon I believe so I wouldn't want that. What is factory tint on the front? It looks as if there is really no tint on the window.

Okay so I just looked at a video and the 35% on the front and 25% on the back is still pretty dark. So yeah i'll go with 5% back and 35% front.
