A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Got a bunch of good stuff but two items stick out: the bottle of General John Stark vodka (made right down the road from apples) and the home creapo gift cert I'll use to get my space heater for the garage.

My girls car was acting weird today.
Heat wasn't blowing hot air and the car temp wasn't coming up to running temp.
But if you shut the heater off the car would come up to running temp .
Sound like a stuck thermostat ?

Today sucked. Sarah's brother got a PS4, didn't even say thank you, and threw the box aside to open other things. Her mom got mad. I took the gift I got him back. He's a spoiled little fucking piece of shit, and he is pretty damn cold inside for a 13 year old. His father fucked him up well.

So later he was sobbing because his mom asked him to do something and he answered with an attitude. I said "the last thing you need right now is an attitude" "just get off my case" (Sarah and I) "fuck no! Your mom went through weeks of searching to get you something nice and you didn't even care!" Stomps out of the room and starts crying, rather loudly, interrupting my The Price Is Right.

After a while his mom goes in to his room to talk to him. 'I hope you learned a lesson.... Bla bla bla' that sorta thing, and the kid is yelling at her to go away. She told him that she loved him, he responds "no you don't now leave me alone NOW" and I fucking lost it, Sarah had to keep me from barging into his room to kick his fucking bratty ass. You don't talk to your mother like that, especially when she just dropped $500 on a console hoping that you will like it, only to have you not give two shits about it.

Long story short, the brother has gone to the dark side. His dad has gotten through to him and brainwashed him to hate his mother, the one who fought to get him away from his abusive father. He's gone, just like his older brother.

The dad doesn't care, he just wants to do anything to make sure Sarah's mom suffers.

Oh, and I got an iPod Dock, massage coupon for elements, and something else from Sarah's family. My family's Christmas is the 29th this year, and then I'm having Christmas with mom at some point, probably closer to January 7th (my real Christmas (Russian Orthodox))

    Hope everyone else's went better.

Yup. Iirc they fail in the open so those conditions would make sense. Plus a thermostat is a cheap item to change as a diag. After I did all that sit to oldest's car she tells me it takes forever to heat up. If she told me before I would have changed the thermostat as well

Crap Alex sorry to hear that, one day you may deliver that "course correction" you so wanted to. Getting back to Evan's ?--besides my new Black Hero 3+ my dad gave me a $300 check. What do you guys think for the funds--a) rainy day, b) go pro shtuff, or c) bumper fund :)

If he was mine he would be in sore condition today. But then again, he wouldn't be allowed to get away with anything close to that. The kid hasn't had any discipline, so he runs to daddy every time mean old mom enforces a rule.

Sorry to hear Alex, and yes someone needs a good old school ass whipping.

What stands out is Star Wars Book of the Sith Vault Edition and Vader chalice. Loved her face when she opened the Rav4 OEM mats..

Bumper! What kinda stuff for the gopro? The suction cup mount is a must have. I have that, the roll bar mount, LED backpack and extended battery backpack. The extra battery is very useful for wheeling if you are recording in 1080i, the regular battery doesn't last long.

I know that feeling all to well..at least it probably isn't anything horrible that was made worse driving it.

Try the coolant level first, this is the exact thing I went through with my ex's Ford Escort and it was low on coolant..topped it off and no more issues, didn't even need a t-stat
