    Merry Christmas everyone!!

What did you get for a safe? I picked up a bighorn safe recently. Also bought myself a ruger sr22 a couple days ago, I wanted something to teach my wife how to shoot

I got a Stack on safe with the digital lock. It was marked way way down when she bought it. It's not fireproof but it's childproof which is what we really wanted anyways.

Let me know how you like the sr22. I bought one a while back and really like it but every so often, I get a misfeed.

I know my kid will NEVER act like that. I don't pull in 6 figures, though I hope to at some point. Even still, we have always been humble and appreciative. I can't stand that shit. LUCKILY, after calming Sarah down, we went for lunch at the Alzheimer's unit with my grandparents, my dad and Wendy. Showed her what a real family is like on Christmas :)

Never been that angry before. It was surprising and I hope not to feel like that again. Especially on Christmas. Ugh. Time for sleep

Pugga, if you haven't yet, try something with a little more zing to it for ammo. Assuming this is a .22LR? (I'm at work and can't look up...) I'm seeing most of the newer semi's need a good load. My own 10/22 plaything can't make it past two mags of federal bulk without at least one failed feed, too weak. I use CCI minimags and all problems go away, but of course they are a bit steeper in price. Range with the junk, use good stuff when needed if proven out.

Otherwise, I agree with emiliea, emalsia.... uh, Alex:)D) - too early, and too much driving on junky ice-clogged roads already....

Yeah I already need a nap. I hate waking up tired with no time to wake up, hopping into a cold truck, and driving 20 miles to work. At least I'm only working til 4:30 today and then I'm working at 12:30 tomorrow so I get some time to sleep/relax in the AM.

    Morning all.
Hope everybody had a good and safe Christmas.
We had ours in the dark (kinda). No power still. But we had oil lamps, and flashlights, and I dragged the battery for the tractor inside and hooked it up to a power inverter so that the girlfriend and I could at least have the tree lights on while we opened gifts, lol.
Central Maine Power sent a truck up our road on Tuesday, but they came back down again in about 10 minutes once they realized that the big birch up the hill had actually snapped the line, not just popped the fuse. So none of the houses on the road have power right now. We've been fine, just getting a little stinky (sorry coworkers). It's been in the single digits for the last couple of nights, but the woodstoves have kept the house more than warm enough. I feel bad for my neighbors, though. They've been over 6 or 7 times to warm up, because they've got a trailer and they're trying to keep it warm with one of those little kerosene heaters (the kind that'll kill you if you're not careful), and also keep their pipes from freezing. So they have to keep switching the heater around, between inside and underneath the trailer.

Nice, childproof is the most important part.

Every 22 I've ever shot misfeeds at some point, not sure when I'll shoot this one but I'll tell you how it cycles when I do.
