Monte - I noticed in the LED thread you had some side mounted light bars. What were they? Do you still have all the LEDs you posted back then in addition to the LF HID's?

They are Blitzpro hawk 21s bars. Great flood lights.

My light forces are just 100w halogen. My Hellas are 55w hid.

imo tapping into that fuse panel is a pain. I would try monte's grounding switch method for your lights.

run power from the battery to the lights then the ground wire into the cab to the switch then the ground from the switch somewhere convenient in the cab, like the 4wd computer bolt.

 

Your looking at $400+ by the time you add in shipping and you'll also need an air chuck of some soert. But...it will be fast.

 

ive don't the fuse tap too, don't like it ha. add a ring and just put one more loop on a bolt on the battery terminal?

Yep. All there. Just go to the OP. everything is linked.

16 gauge is fine for one light.

For just the one you won't need a relay. Fuse it right and it'll be fine with just a switch on the ground.

Don't get power tank

Look at wheelers The Source kits. What mine is. Cheaper and just as good.

373 for 20lb with adjust able regulator. 291 with fixed 150psi regulator.

 

I really don't know the first thing about running an air system...but I have a 7 gallon air tank sitting around, right now it only has a regular tire inflate hose and a psi gauge, but is there any economical way to maybe mount it somewhere on the truck and run a hose to attatch to the air compressor and a hose out to a tire fill end attachment?

Soldering gun is different. I'd get one for stuff like this. Keep the iron tho for circuit boards and super small wire. A gun will melt pcb board as they are 100w and 150w

I'd wire the power wire to the battery. Why? Because almost all the power you can tap into in the truck..is ignition source. So it'll only have power when the truck is on.

Run it to the bed under the frame rail and up though the bed and into the box. Use wire loom and silicon and rubber hose around edges of cut metal.

Run your ground wire through the passenger side grommet like the cb wire(btw don't run the power wire by the cb cable) and then too your switch. Then switch to the ground near by.

Will take a lot of wire.

 

Tanks do t help that much for filling tires. More for air tools.

Only good place for mounting them is where the stock spare goes. And if it hangs lower then 7" then not really worth it.

I used my 6" reverse LEDs a lot tonight haha had to back out a half mile haha

 

Could get a tool box like Ben and mount it in there if ya want.

absolutely not worth it. my rack wouldn't fit, and my bikes wouldn't fit,
