Good to go the way they were delivered...

I recommend Icons. However, lots love kings as well as fox. I have only road In a truck once with Kings...and I still prefer my icons.

Ok looks like I'm going to put off the lift for a while. I want to do it right the first time and I really appreciate your help. Think I will go with a complete icon set up instead.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
I dunno about all that nonsense. I presently run that shock and am running close to 4" of lift in the back...that shock will have almost zero up travel by the time you modified bump stops to keep it from wrecking itself. This info is based on looking at the shock on the back of my truck while stuffed and extended not numbers on a screen...I ran the 0-1" Icons in rear rear for a while and they worked well until I did the shackle flip. The real debate here is what does the driver intend to do?

If he has ambitions of flipped shackles and lot of wheel travel than bynall means get the longnones and modify the bumpstops. If it's street or light wheeling than the 0-2" billy shpuld be fine. No idea why Jay had so many issues with his...

And I am working today...mostly fit for full duty ;)

It would be light wheeling, still doing a lot of learning. Mostly due to it being my first 4 wheel drive.

If you want to see if the longer billies will work I can let you borrow one for a fit test. I like them and they compliment the ride of the stock leafs well. I'm hoping they do well with the expo leaf pack also. I actually prefer them to the Icon Remote Reservoir shocks I was running before FWIW.

When the pack gets here I might take you up on that. Like I said I just want to do it right the first time, and I learn a lot from reading what everybody has to say

Rack design is almost finished and should be here in a couple weeks.

Going with 17in from base plate to bottom of top support bar with a rear secondary hoop offset to run the ARB off the rear of the truck and rotopax mounts off both sides. Get it welded up once the pieces come in and then mock up the tent, toolbox, awning, and then figure out how to attach the 2000mm awning off of the right side.

im running the standards in the rear with the wheelers progressive AAL and wheelers told me not to get the extended ones because of the bump stop issue. ive been running mine for a year and a half or so and they still ride great with no problems. just my personal experience

I think my only real option will be under the driver’s seat.

Could go up top centered in front of the dome light… There's probably a stringer/stiffener up in that area somewhere.:notsure:

That's the same speaker that I have. Amazon had them on sale $12 bucks. I'm going to try to mount it underneath the seat or just lay it on the carpet with some hook Velcro to secure it.

honestly its not even very loud. Might not use it

I went through 2 sets in the rear before I gave in to ICONS. And that was with NO OFF ROADING! Luckily Downsouth sent me replacements but if I had to do it over again I would have bought icons in the first place.

Seeing the icons And the billies side by side shows you there is no comparison. The Icons are definitely better built. But you get what you pay for.
