I got an add-a-fuse and tapped it into something in the interior fuse box. Don't remember what it was off the top of my head, but it works fine. That is until i broke the coax connector...

I Just got mine too! accept mine are 265/70/16. Much softer than the BFG rugged trails, and they look much more aggressive IMO

I had General AW 265 70 R16's before. They got all chewed up from off roading. The new tires are about 1 1/8 inch larger in diameter and much narrower and 10 pounds heavier. I've noticed an expected reduction in acceleration and mpg. I removed the roof rack which I rarely use to combat the mpg issue. They're noisier than the AW's, but much quieter than expected. I'm really Looking forward to going off road with them and driving in snow.
I'm about to go on an 800 mile road trip from San Jose Ca to Weaverville, then back down to Tahoe and back to the Bay Area. That'll be followed up with moving to Little Rock AR..a nice little 2,000 mile (plus side trips) drive.

I probably will but I just got some CBI ditch light brackets and they are powder coated with a wrinkle finish and it's pretty sweet. Can't hurt to price it

That's looking sweet!! Do you have any pics of it mocked up on the truck? And yeah if I keep building things the portaban is going to have to be replaced. I'm just glad my dad lets me use all his tools :D

I was very please with the service at my Walmart. I wanted duratracs but they are out of stock or on back order until february. So i went with these, for 40$ i got a warranty that covers any damage (including sidewall), lifetime balance, and flat repairs. Pretty good deal i thought.

I've heard good things about wrangler authority's from a guy that has them on his tacoma. He uses it for light trails and as his DD. I've seen them and they look like the younger brother of the duratrac, a little sidewall aggressiveness and the tread blocks are fairly aggressive.

Need some gussets where the frame plates attach to the bumper. Looks good otherwise.

Yeah I figured it could use some. I have some more 1.5"x1.5" that I'll throw in there. Thanks!
